Mrs. McGaha – Returning for Year 5!
My husband and I moved to the Asheville, NC area a couple of years ago and we absolutely love it here.
We have two beautiful little girls. Emmie is our oldest, and she is four. Our youngest Sadie is now one.
I have previously worked at two Adventist schools where I taught in a K-2 multi-grade classroom, in Virginia Beach, VA and as a first grade teacher in Olney, MD.
I graduated from Southern Adventist University with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I also completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teacher Leader.
I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia where my parents, brother, and sister-in-law still reside. It was such a fun experience living so close to the beach!
My husband’s family is originally from Hot Spring, NC. We have always enjoyed visiting North Carolina and it became our favorite get-a-way spot.
In our spare time, my husband and I enjoy all types of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, rafting, biking, tubing and more! We also love spending quality time with friends and family and enjoy becoming involved within the church.
